Kugel

While the ball must be perfectly round, its surface may be engraved with logos or decorative motifs. The map of the earth is one familiar design perfectly suited to a turning sphere. The base offers the greatest opportunities for creativity: The style, tone and texture of the outside of the basin may be rough-hewn and rustic or sleek and sophisticated or asymmetrical and whimsical.
